Tulemuseks selline asi:

con·cept P Pronunciation Key (knspt) n.
A general idea derived or inferred from specific instances or occurrences.
Something formed in the mind; a thought or notion. See Synonyms at idea.
A scheme; a plan: “began searching for an agency to handle a new restaurant concept” (ADWEEK).

Jeppiiii

unicows.dll module missing

I stumbled upon a problem where MSN messenger decided at one point that it won’t open normally and scream out that unicows.dll file is missing “specified module could not be found-unicows.dll”. So I tried everything, uninstalling, installing, installing different things, even found out where to get that dll file and put that in the computer – messenger started up, but everything was crooked and didn’t work how it was supposed to.

By a lucky chance I found a solution to this specific problem, well, I didn’t get to the bottom of it, what causes it, but I found a solution from mess.be forum where was said “Are you using Windows XP? If so, search your computer for MSNMSGR.EXE. Once you’ve found the file, right-click on it, choose Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and then uncheck “Run this program in compatibility mode”.” And that, my dears, was THE problem, somehow there was a check in the Run this program… line and every time MSN tried to start up, it thought it has to start up as in Windows 98.

Why I am also writing this today is that I got a call from the owner of that computer few moments ago and found out that messenger didn’t want to start up again saying the same thing – can’t find unicows.dll file. So I had them do the whole C:/Program Files/MSN Messenger/ *.exe file thing again, unchecking “Run this…” and it works out fine again.

But the question remains – how did it get back to that state where it didn’t want to start up again?
